How does this work?

Please look through the items up for auction and bid on any and everything you would like! Each item is in a different post, so the bidding will take place in the comments section of each individual post. Please be sure to include your name and a way for us to contact you (preferably email address) with each bid. If you don't have a google account, you can still bid, just choose the anonymous option (but again, don't forget to put your name and email). Please email if have any questions! (team_matthew@hotmail.com) Once the bidding is over, we will contact the winner with directions on how to pay and information on how to claim their item. Thank you for visiting the auction, hopefully we can make this a success and provide some sort of help for the Pedrotty family in this battle they are facing.

The Matthew James Pedrotty Survivor bracelet

This item up for auction is a little different than the rest of the items. There is a limitless amount of how many bracelets we can get! So instead of bidding on this item, we ask that you make a minimum donation of $25 (but it can certainly be more!) and then we will send you your own MJP survivor bracelet! They are called survival bracelets in the camping world, because they are made out of para cord that can be used in any "survival" situation and we chose royal blue because it reminds us of his "blankie" color. Show your support for Matthew and the Pedrotty family by sporting one of these bad boys!!! I've already ordered mine!
Just leave a comment telling me you want one, and please specify if you would like a medium (women's size) or large (men's size), then make your donation into the paypal account on the sidebar. Once your donation is received we will mail out your bracelet. Don't forget to leave your name and email in the comment so we can contact you! Thanks!

AUCTION CLOSED! And another announcement!

Alright, the auction is officially CLOSED now!  Thank you to each and every one of you who has bid and donated.  It has moved me to tears so many times throughout this event to see such an outpouring of love and generosity toward the Pedrotty family.  If you were the highest bidder, be on the lookout for an email on how to pay for and claim your items.  I would like to officially announce that due to the overwhelming success, we will be holding ANOTHER AUCTION!  The Pedrotty family has such a long road ahead of them and while this auction has been an incredible success, we just can't stop now when there's still so many people wanting to help.  I don't have a starting date yet, but I'm thinking maybe the end of January.  If you have anything you would like to donate, please contact me at team_matthew@hotmail.com.  Please keep checking back to this site for more announcements and ways you can help.

And while the items up for auction are closed, the MJP Survivor Bracelets are still available and will be available as long as there are people wanting to purchase them.

A little background info...

This blog is set up as an auction site to earn money for Matthew Pedrotty. He is a 3 year old little boy who was just diagnosed the day after Thanksgiving with cancer. Each test they run results in worse and worse news. The road ahead for Matthew and his family will not be an easy one and we are looking for a way to help them. Matthew is a vibrant, energetic, caring little boy with the most infectious smile! His parents are incredible, faithful and generous people. For those of you who know Elissa (his mother) you know she would give her right arm to help somebody. For those of you who don't know her...well, that pretty much sums her up. She has shown so much strength and faith throughout this terrible ordeal, let me share with you an example. This is a portion of an update she posted on facebook:

..I pray for better news tomorrow and for some relief for sweet Matthew so again we are so very grateful for all your prayers and all the great words of encouragement and we love you all and are so grateful. We know everyone has trials and everyone is going through their own struggles and hope for the best for everyone out there and I just want you all to know how much our Heavenly Father loves and knows each of us and while things are hard he will be by your side and he will help you in your struggles. when things don't go your way it doesn't mean he isn't there or didn't hear your prayer...it means what you wanted isn't what he wanted and that his plan is eternal and we have to trust in his decision for whatever outcome we get. Trial is never a reason to forget God..never a reason to be angry with him and never a reason to forget to be loving and Christ-like to those around you. WE all have to remember that we all have our struggles and not to discount anyone elses struggle because we feel ours is harder or bigger or whatever...we love you all and are so very grateful for the friendships we have shared and the incredible things we have been blessed with through each and every one of you...our hearts are with you all in your struggles and can add you to our prayers as well. thanks so so very much for all the strength
